While the snow is still on the ground, the Green and White are busy behind the scenes. With CFL free agency approaching next month, the Saskatchewan Roughriders front office is in full swing evaluating the roster and making moves to shore up the team for the 2026 season. It’s the perfect time to start dreaming of summer nights at Mosaic Stadium.
Frost Regina Hubs Taking Shape
If you’ve driven past the major parks or the stadium district lately, you might have noticed some activity. Preparations are officially ramping up for the Frost Regina winter festival. The city is embracing the cold with ice carvings, light installations, and outdoor hubs being prepped to turn our winter landscape into a playground next month.
SGI: Winter Intersection Safety
SGI is reminding drivers that even though we are used to the snow by now, intersections remain the trickiest spots. Polished ice from idling cars can make stopping distances much longer than expected. They are advising everyone to scan carefully and brake earlier than you think you need to as you approach lights and stop signs this week.
